The boys spend time at Lowe's together. Its a guy thing... They actually go to pick up little things quite often. Tad picks out what he needs and hands it to Grayson and then Grayson holds it or puts it in the cart. Pretty soon he will be learning all about tools and "guy stuff" from his daddy.

TV Addiction

No mom of the year awards here. Grayson loves his shows. This child is going to have some serious withdrawals when mom is able to be more active with him. He's a lump when his favorite shows come on (Winnie the Pooh, Handy Manny, or the Backyardigans). Seriously..

Pregnancy Dreams

I tell you... these pregnancy dreams are getting out of control. About a month ago I dreamt I was playing soccer. The goalee was out of the box and the other team was heading our way to score. It was just me between them and the goal. They took a shot on goal and I dove to block the shot with my body. Apparently I dove in my sleep as well because I knocked everything off of my bedside table and scared the heck out of Tad.

Last night again. This time I was playing soccer on offense and my team was heading down field to score. One of our players took a shot and it was deflected back toward me. I went to head it into the goal. I don't know if I made it, because I woke up when I dove in bed and just about knocked myself out "heading" the wall above our bed.

I knew pregnancy dreams were supposed to be vivid, but I never heard anything about them being dangerous...

Daredevil

Disclaimer: Tad assures me he has a very good hold on Grayson so I don't need to worry.... Yeah right.

Here are my boys, playing boy games that make a mom cringe. Grayson has no fear. He throws himself backwards and completely trusts that dad has got a good hold on him. These guys!

Grayson already is such a little boy. He climbs everything and is so mechanically inclined. He'll be fixing things around the house by the time he's 2! Obviously in that realm he takes after daddy...

Quick Cute Pic..

So I've been cleaning up our computer and part of that was taking all of our pictures and moving them to a different hard drive AND copying them to disc (you can never be too careful, or so I'm told..). The thought of losing any of our precious family photos is too much for me. That being said, Our computer only has photos on it from 2009. All of the others are in our safe (just in case). I need to haul them out, but I'm feeling lazy and I'm not getting much done around the house while I fiddle with this blog. So... here's a cute picture of Grayson I took a couple of days ago while he was hiding under my scrapbooking desk as I was working on some new pages. He's pretty cute, huh?

Overview

So we've had one heck of a year! I'm going to try to give a quick overview so everyone is on the same page...

Grayson turned 1 (can you believe it?!!!) at the beginning of August. He has grown by leaps and bounds and has ATTITUDE that you wouldn't think was possible in one so young. I think he takes after his daddy. He still goes to Auntie Missy's three days a week in the afternoons to spend time with his cousins and give mom a break. He just learned the word "No!" Yippee.

Tad is still working the Power shift (3pm-1am) at PPD and still loving it. He is doing a lot of range stuff at work and just having an overall good time. He's also still working on our house (the never-ending project) in his spare time. He and Grayson are together all the time and I am forever thankful that Tad is such a wonderful daddy.

I'm currently on "modified bedrest" while we are awaiting our second little one. We are due on May 2nd (24 1/2 weeks right now), but due to complications we aren't exactly sure when little Vivian will be arriving. So... I've got a lot of time around the house. This means I SHOULD be able to keep up on this blog. We'll see..
