It starts out simple... like washing hands after playing with the dogs. Then it becomes a water-lovin' fest where Grayson wants to play, play, play in the sink. Then he puts his feet in. Then somehow he slides his butt in, next thing you know we have a wet kid and a soaked floor. He just LOVES water. Swim lessons are in the near future...

Big Boy Bed

Now that we're at the stage where climbing out of the crib is a possibility, we broke down and bought our little guy a "big boy bed." I was shocked at how teensy it is! Grayson loves to play on it and he will lay down on it, but still hasn't slept on it. He's just happy to have it and is getting used to the idea.

New Rocking Chair

Grayson loves his new rocking chair. He's finally getting the hang of it. For a while he didn't like to sit in it because he felt like he was going to go over backwards. Now we have to slow him down so that he doesn't...

Grayson at 18 months...

These are my favorite photos of Grayson at 18 months. He's such a cute and happy kid (most of the time). I can't believe how quickly the time has flown by. He's a little boy now.. no longer a baby. Grayson is growing up too fast. How do I freeze time?!!!

Hammer Time

Grayson is getting quite good at hammering with his toy hammer. He whacks those toy nails down quickly. He also uses both hands to do it. Just like his ambidextrous dad. Won't be long until we put him to work...

Valentine's Day

We had a very nice Valentine's Day as a family. We had breakfast and gave Grayson his balloons, lollipops, and stuffed animal. He loves those balloons! He still plays with them every day. Not that they drive me crazy. Nope, not a bit... We all had cards and candy and flowers. It was just a great day to be together.

Tiny Tot Tumbling..

Grayson is loving his time at his Gymnastics/Tumbling class that we go to on Wednesdays. He's not much for sitting still and listening... he's more excited to be running and playing and climbing. And when they bring out the balls to play with... forget-about-it... he's in 7th Heaven.

Not feeling well..

Here's where we've been the last few days (thankfully today seems to be much better). Grayson has had a nasty cold (runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, low grade fever). He's also been moving back and forth between crabby and clingy. Poor little guy.. He at least is back to sleeping through the night. Hopefully we've seen the worst of it and we're now on the mend...
